Roads & Maintenance

The maintenance department is responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of POA facilities and amenities in the 15,000 acre subdivision. Tasks include maintenance of approximately 88 miles of gravel roads, including grading, gravel application, culvert cleaning and replacement and snow removal. All of the equipment associated with the POA is also maintained by the maintenance department. This includes motor graders, loader, backhoe, roller, dozer, trucks, pickups, snow plow, plus ambulances and fire trucks. The maintenance department also maintains the parks and greenbelts, this includes watering, mowing, plantings and general upkeep of facilities such as bathrooms and trash removal. The maintenance department also maintains the buildings owned by the POA including the administrative offices, POA hall, ambulance and fire departments and library building. The maintenance department also maintains the community mitigation / brush pit, which includes the piling limbs and brush and burning the pit when necessary. Other maintenance duties include the upkeep of Camper Village and the associated shower house and laundry facilities.
